Diligence sheet

The questions a buyer asks about research data, answered from the catalogue's own counts and dates. Every dataset in full is in the catalogue.

  1. 1.How far back does price history go?

Daily bars from May 26, 1896 to Oct 8, 2026: 97,335,854 rows for 54,854 names. The month-end grid backtests read starts Jan 31, 1928.

    Rows a year: 1930: 502; 1962: 7,056; 1980: 107,171; 1998: 1,588,580; 2025: 5,154,331.

  2. 2.Are delisted companies included?

Yes from 1998: companies that later delisted are in from 1998. Before 1998 the history is mostly survivors, so early years lean toward the winners.
