Terms of Service

Terms 2027-3, effective Oct 9, 2026 · QuantGPT LLC

These are the rules for using QuantGPT. Please read them. By using QuantGPT, you agree to them.

In short

  • QuantGPT is research and software. It is not an investment adviser or a broker, and nothing here is advice for you.
  • You make your own decisions. Backtests and futuretests are hypothetical, and no result is guaranteed.
  • You must be 18 or older.
  • For now, trading happens only in Alpaca's sandbox, with play money. You approve each order.
  • QuantGPT and QuantGPT Pro each start with a 3-day free trial. Paid plans renew every month or year until you cancel, and you can cancel any time in Settings.
  • Do not scrape, copy or abuse the Service.
  • Disputes go to individual arbitration, not to court or class actions. You can opt out within 30 days.
  • These points help you read. The full terms below are what count.

1. Who are we, and what is this agreement?

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and QuantGPT LLC, a Florida limited liability company, 15350 N Florida Ave, Tampa, FL 33613 ("QuantGPT", "we" or "us"). They cover the QuantGPT app, its pages and its tools (the "Service").

You accept these Terms when you tick the box at sign-up, pay for a plan or use the Service. The Privacy Policy, the Cookie notice and the Risk Disclosures are part of these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who can use QuantGPT?

You can use QuantGPT only if all of these are true:

  • You are 18 or older, and old enough to sign a contract where you live.
  • You are not in, and do not live in, a country under full U.S. sanctions, and you are not on a U.S. list of blocked people or companies.
  • You have one account. It is yours alone, and the details you give us are true.
  • We have not removed you from the Service before, and you are not opening an account to get around a block.

3. Is QuantGPT investment advice?

No. QuantGPT gives you general research and software: backtests, futuretests, screens, grades, charts and the tools to run them. All of it is general and hypothetical. None of it is made for you, and none of it tells you to buy, sell or hold anything.

We are not an investment adviser, a broker-dealer, a commodity trading advisor, an exchange or a bank. No regulator has reviewed or approved the Service. We never hold your money or your assets. Using QuantGPT does not make us your adviser or your fiduciary.

You make your own decisions, and you are responsible for them. We do not promise any result.

Posts, comments, models and takes from members are their own views. We do not check them. They are not advice, and we are not responsible for them.

4. How does trading work right now?

For now, trading happens only in Alpaca's broker sandbox. A sandbox is a practice account with play money. QuantGPT opens the sandbox account for you. No real money moves, and we never touch a brokerage account we did not open.

You review and approve each order on its ticket before it is sent. If you turn on your own AI trader in the sandbox, it uses your own AI key and works only inside the rules and limits you set. You can pause or stop it with one press. Only the broker's own order types are offered.

Real-money trading is off. It stays off until we decide to turn it on and our lawyers approve, and we will update these Terms before that happens.

Alpaca is a separate company with its own terms. We are not responsible for its systems or its sandbox.

5. How does AI work here?

Ask AI, the take builder and the AI trader call the AI provider you choose, with your own key, straight from your browser. Your key stays in your browser. We never receive it.

Check a document in Ask AI is different: the file you upload goes to our server, which sends it to our AI provider, Anthropic, with our key, to list the document's claims, and then checks those claims against our data. We do not keep the file. A report is kept only if you save it.

AI can be wrong. It can misread a number or make one up. Check what it says against the page it came from before you rely on it.

The AI provider is a separate company with its own terms and privacy policy. What you send it, and what it sends back, is between you and that provider.

Do not use the Service's output to train an AI model.

6. How do I keep my account safe?

You are responsible for what happens in your account. Use a strong password that you use nowhere else, and turn on two-factor sign-in in Settings. If you think someone else got in, tell us right away at desk@quantgpt.co.

You may not sell, share or transfer your account.

7. What do plans cost, and how does billing work?

Plans, in U.S. dollars: QuantGPT ($49 a month or $490 a year); QuantGPT Pro ($149 a month or $1,490 a year). The plans page shows what each plan opens today and its price when you buy.

Some paid plan features (higher limits, extra AI keys and QuantGPT's own AI) are marked "Not live yet" on the plans page. They are not part of your plan until that tag is gone.

Stripe handles payments. We never see your full card number.

Free trial: QuantGPT and QuantGPT Pro each start with a 3-day free trial. You add a card to start it. If you do not cancel before the 3 days end, the plan's price is charged then. Each member gets one trial of each plan. Moving from QuantGPT to QuantGPT Pro during a paid plan is a plan change on Stripe's billing page, not a new trial.

Every part of the app needs a paid plan. An account without one keeps its saved work, and it comes back when you subscribe.

Auto-renewal: paid plans renew on their own, every month or every year as you chose, at the price in effect then, plus any tax. They keep renewing until you cancel. At checkout you agree to this renewal and to these Terms.

If a payment fails, Stripe may try again. Until it is paid, your account may have no plan, and the app stays closed until it is paid.

Price changes: we will tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your plan, so you can cancel first. Taxes are added where the law requires.

8. Can I cancel?

Yes, any time. Go to Settings, Plan, Cancel plan, and confirm on Stripe's page. Cancelling is as easy as signing up.

Your plan stays on until the end of the period you paid for. After that you are not charged again, and your account has no plan: the app closes, and your saved work stays on your account for when you subscribe again. If you cancel during the free trial, you are not charged.

Changing plans: if you switch plans on Stripe's billing page, Stripe works out the difference for the days left in your period (this is called proration) and shows it before you confirm. The credit or extra charge goes on your next bill.

Deleting your account in Settings ends a paid plan at once, with no refund for the rest of the period.

9. Can I get a refund?

Payments are not refundable, except where the law says they must be. If you think we charged you by mistake, write to desk@quantgpt.co within 14 days of the charge, and we will look into it.

If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom and buy as a consumer, you may cancel within 14 days of the first charge for a plan and get a refund. Because the Service starts right away when you ask, we keep the part of that charge for the days you already had the plan.

10. Who owns the data, and what can I do with it?

Prices, filings and other data come from the providers listed on the Risk Disclosures and in the footer. They belong to those providers. You may look at them in the Service for your own use. You may not copy them out in bulk, scrape them, pass them on, or use them to build a product, an index or a dataset.

Backtests, futuretests and other results are hypothetical. They are math on past data, before costs and taxes unless a page says otherwise. They are not predictions or promises. You may share your own results in the ways the Service offers, with QuantGPT's name kept on them.

Data comes as it is. We and our providers do not promise it is correct, complete or on time.

11. What am I not allowed to do?

  • Do not scrape the pages, download them in bulk, or use bots or scripts on them.
  • Do not get around limits, gates or blocks. The Service limits how often anyone can use it (rate limits); if you hit one, wait and try again.
  • Do not copy, reverse engineer, resell or rebuild the Service, or use it to build or train a competing product or AI model.
  • Do not break the law, manipulate any market, or attack, probe or overload the Service.
  • Do not remove notices, credits or watermarks.

The Service, its software, methods, words and design belong to QuantGPT or to those who license them to us. We keep every right these Terms do not give you. Nothing here stops you from posting your own reviews and opinions of the Service, which the Consumer Review Fairness Act protects.

12. Who owns what I post?

You own what you post: forum posts, comments, takes and models. You give us a license to host it, show it and format it so the Service works. The license is worldwide, non-exclusive and free of charge. Other members may see what you share. You confirm you have the right to post it.

You may upload only documents, pictures and notes you have the right to upload and to have read by our AI provider. Do not upload anything you are bound to keep confidential, or anything private about other people.

Research keeps what you save there (the reports of documents you checked, the links you paste and the text we read from them, posts and notes) on your account, private to you, until you delete it or your account. Deleting an item removes it from our database. We never keep an uploaded file itself, only its report.

When you delete a take you shared, it closes and stays in the Takes room as a record, so copies that others made keep their credit. Write to us if you want it taken down. Deleting your account deletes all your takes; copies others made stay theirs, without your name.

Do not post anything unlawful, harassing, hateful or infringing, or anything private about other people. Do not pretend to be someone else. Do not promote a trade or ask people to invest. Do not post performance claims that cannot be checked in the Service. We may remove posts and limit accounts that break these rules.

14. Can my account be closed?

You can stop using the Service, and delete your account in Settings, at any time.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if the law or a data provider requires it, or to protect the Service or other people. When we can, we will tell you why.

Some parts of these Terms still apply after an account closes: data, acceptable use, your posts, copyright, disclaimers, limits on liability, indemnity and disputes.

15. What do we not promise?

We cannot promise that the Service, its data or its results will always be right, complete or available. You use them as they are.

THE SERVICE, ITS DATA AND ITS RESULTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. INVESTING AND TRADING CAN LOSE ALL THE MONEY YOU PUT IN.

Some places do not allow these exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you.

16. How much are we responsible for?

If something goes wrong, our responsibility is limited. We are not responsible for indirect losses or for trading losses. In total, we owe you no more than what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100, whichever is more.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, QUANTGPT AND ITS OWNERS, MANAGERS, STAFF AND DATA PROVIDERS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA OR TRADING LOSSES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF WHAT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND 100 U.S. DOLLARS.

Some places do not allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you.

17. When do I cover QuantGPT's costs?

If someone makes a claim against QuantGPT because of your posts, your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms or your breach of the law, you will defend QuantGPT and pay the costs and losses that result (this is called indemnity).

18. How do we settle a dispute?

Talk to us first. Before any formal claim, write to desk@quantgpt.co. Say what happened and what you want. We will try to settle it with you within 30 days.

Arbitration, not court. If we cannot settle it, a neutral arbitrator decides the dispute through binding individual arbitration. The American Arbitration Association (AAA) runs it under its Consumer Arbitration Rules and the Federal Arbitration Act. It takes place in Tampa, Florida, or by video if you choose. The arbitrator can give you the same individual relief a court could. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court.

No class actions. You and QuantGPT each give up the right to a jury trial and the right to bring or join any class, collective, consolidated or representative action. Claims are brought one by one. This is called a class action waiver.

Fees. Filing, administration and arbitrator fees follow the AAA consumer fee schedule, which caps what you pay. If 25 or more similar claims are filed with help from the same or coordinated lawyers, the AAA Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules apply to them.

Opting out. You can opt out of arbitration. Email desk@quantgpt.co within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, with your account email and the words "arbitration opt-out".

Exceptions. Either of us may go to court for an injunction, or for claims about intellectual property, confidential information, unauthorized access or data extraction. Consumers who live outside the United States are not bound by this arbitration section and may bring claims in the courts where they live.

19. Which law applies?

Florida law and U.S. federal law govern these Terms, apart from consumer protections that the law where you live does not let you give up. Apart from arbitration, the state and federal courts in Hillsborough County, Florida decide disputes. If arbitration does not apply, both of us still give up a jury trial where the law allows.

20. Can these Terms change?

Yes. Each version has its own number and date at the top. For important changes, we will tell you at least 14 days ahead, by email or in the Service, and we may ask you to accept the new version.

These Terms and the pages they name are the whole agreement about the Service. You may not pass them to someone else; we may pass them to a company that takes over the Service. If one part cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part right away, we have not given it up.

Notices. We send notices to the email on your account or show them in the Service. Send notices to us, including arbitration opt-outs and dispute letters, to QuantGPT LLC, 15350 N Florida Ave, Tampa, FL 33613, or by email to desk@quantgpt.co.
